Pokemon I never heard about...

Ok listen. I have been hearing that people are saying there 495 pokemon. What? I already know there is 493 pokemon. But what are the other 2? Also my friend just said he got a Pokemon called Acues (Not Arcues) and said It was Arcues brother. Will someone please explain all of this nonsense! P.S I am thinking that one of the two Pokemon I don't know about is MissingNo but thats only a guess.

There is only 493 Pokemon all in all. The 2 extra Pokemon may be the new Giratina and Shaymin forms, but that's just a guess.

And no, there is NO such Pokemon as Acues. Don't listen to your friend.

As geezerguy said, there are 493 different kinds of Pokemon, not 495. The new forms introduced in Pokemon Platinum can't add up to the total number of Pokemon because it would be 500(counting rotom forms). They might say there are 495 pokmeon because "missingno" and the "bad egg" are sometimes counted as pokemon. And arceus does NOT have a brother, so "Acues" doesn't exist. Hope this is helpful to you.

Missingno is possible to get, but it isnt available on the pokedex, as you need action replay to get, and it doesnt go into your Pokemon box. He is probably lieing about "Areus", that definately does NOT exist
