How do I go on nintendo wi-fi and trade and battle?

Well the answer to your last two questions is straigh up no. To get on to wi-fi you first have to set up you wi-fi settings assuming that there is a wireless internet signal somewhere in your area you can log on to. This can be done at one of the first screens where it says play, options, wi-fi settings. To trade you then just go to the GTS injubilife city, it's pretty easy from there. To do a live battle you must have the persons friend code and use the downstairs pokecenter. If you do not have anyones friend code, you are stuck doing AI battles with peoples loaded teams from the battle tower.

You need a wireless internet connection. You can buy a plug for your usb port in your computer to make it work.

You do not need a wii

Those items (I think only the azure flute exists. I don't think the heaven's pipe exists, but I may stand corrected) can only be obtained at special events, or by cheating using a hacking device. You won't get them by going wi-fi.

You need a wireless router, like what a laptop computer uses. Or nintendo has one for it too. You then goto the basement of the Pokemon center to set it up. Then you get your friends code. Then give your code to someone and you put thier code in. Then enter the basement to one of the rooms, if that person is on they will show up. Remember you both have to have each others code for this to work. The flute is not out yet. You can get it from Action Replay, which is a cheat device. You put the code for that event in the AR (Action Replay) then put your game in. You can get Action Replay on line. Or at some stores. I have the Action Replay DS. Just the router.

To get the azuras flute you have to go to a live event held by nintendo but it'll probably be a long time until the one for the flute to come to america because it hasnt even happened in japan yet

You have to have a wireless hotspot or a wifi connector. Then you can connect to the wifi and trade and battle wirelessly. To do that just go to the basemnt of the Pokemon centre and get the pal pad and add a friend. Then talk to the girl and you can go in and meet your friends.

To get the azure flute use a cheat device or wait for the nintendo event.
