Well first of all you should definitly take away Fly, it sucks. A good moveset would be Flamethrower, Dragon Pulse, Blast Burn, and Earthquake. I hope I helped you.

DELETE FLY AND ADD GIGA IMPACT OR DRAGON CLAW.

Nanoboy25 answered:

Those are pretty good attacks. I'm wondering how the dragon pulse got there but other than that the attacks seem good enough.

100 KING answered:

I would think you should teach it moves that are physical ( yellow star on red background) because it's att would be higher. Like dragon claw, fly, flare blitz, and another physical move like flame wheel or earthquake.

It depends on the various roles you wish for it to play. *Sigh.*

Here are the best recommended sets for a Charizard.

Name: Bellyzard
Move #1: Substitute
Move #2: Belly Drum
Move #3: Fire Punch
Move #4: Earthquake
Held Item: Salac Berry
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Blaze
EV's: 252 SPD - 129 DEF - 129 SP.DEF

Okay, first off, I don't really see a point in giving it attack EVs, or a beneficial nature towards attack since Belly Drum maximizes it's attack anyways. And that's the purpose of this fiery dragon. The defense and special defense EVs are so that you don't get owned if your Charizard is slower than the opponent, and so that you can still maintain an adequate amount of HP to Belly Drum and Substitute. There are no HP EVs to guarantee that the Salac Berry (as well as Blaze) will activate. First, set up a substitute, or BP one to it. Next, use Belly Drum. The Salac Berry should activate, increasing Charizard's speed, as well as Blaze, Charizard's ability which increases fire moves when you have HP lower than 34% of your maximum. Next, obliterate anything that comes into your path with your maximum attack! Because Stealth Rock depletes this beast of around half of it's max HP, rapid spinners are mandatory on a team including Bellyzard (Thanks for the tip, Aeronasphere!)

Name: Special Sweeper
Move #1: Flamethrower/Fire Blast
Move #2: Air Slash
Move #3: Dragon Pulse
Move #4: Focus Blast
Held Item: Choice Specs/Life Orb
Nature: Timid/Modest
Ability: Blaze
EV's: 252 SP.ATK - 252 SPD

Charizard is a decent special sweeper, with a base Special Attack of 109. These four attacks cover a wide variety of opponents. Flamethrower/Fire Blast and Air Slash are both there for STAB. Dragon Pulse covers many OU Pokemon (sigh... It's like every Dragon type minus Altaria is OU). Use a Modest nature if you use Life Orb, and use a Timid nature if you use Choice Specs.

Name: Physical Sweeper
Move #1: Flare Blitz
Move #2: Earthquake
Move #3: Brick Break
Move #4: Rock Slide/Dragon Claw
Held Item: Choice Band/Life Orb
Nature: Jolly/Adamant
Ability: Blaze
EV's: 252 ATK - 252 SPD

Normally you wouldn't see a physical sweeper with a base Attack of 85, but Charizard is an exception due to it's wide range of learnable physical moves. This set, like the Special set, covers a large range of opponents. Other possibilities for this moveset include giving Charizard Dragon/Swords Dance, Aerial Ace, or even Focus Blast. Dragon Claw is a decent alternative as well. Again, use a Jolly Nature if you use a Choice Band, and an Adamant nature if you use the Life Orb.

Charizard is a very versatile Pokemon, but is easily stopped. Charizard has a 4x weakness to Rock -- the type of one of the most common moves -- Stone Edge. Bellyzard is a personal favorite of mine, but is expected as it is the most common version of this Pokemon. A sweeping Charizard can surprise the foe, and possibly knock them out. Another option could be a Sunny Day Charizard, utilizing the boost for Fire-type moves, and the chargeless Solar Beam.

Haha, sorry about the wall of this. Enjoy though!

I think the best move to teach charzarid is Dragon pulse, blast burn, thunder, and last is earth quake because you can handle a water type with thunder and for a ground would use earthquake.I HOPE THIS HELPS! By the way Charzarid is A BEAST AT LEVEL 100!
