Either a Dusk Ball or a Nest Ball

For some to evolve yes:
Porygon+Up-Grade=Porygon2
Porygon2+Dubious Disc=Porygon-Z
Rhydon+Protector=Rhyperior
Dusclops+Reaper Cloth=Dusknoir
Magmar+Magmarizer=Magmortar
Electabuzz+Electrizer=Electivire

stefanjoel answered:

It depends on the Pokemon some Pokemon have to hold certain items to evolve during trade.

Nanoboy25 answered:

1) It doesn't really matter what ball! You catch him on lvl 15. But use a ultra ball just in case or a quick ball at the first turn.

2)No except for certain specific pokemon.

secv answered:

1. I say that you should use a dusk ball, because you can only catch him at nigh, and dusk balls wok best at night.

2. It depends on the pokemon. Not all Pokemon have to be traded to evolve. Only some of the ones that do need to be traded need an item.
