I found I fossil in the underground and selected "put in bag" but when I checked my bag the fossil wasn't there. Can someone please explain how to get it in my bag please?

You go underground and click X to go the start menu, then go to treasures and click on the fossil and click add to bag and go up and it will be in your items pocket
