I just got this game and I was told it can trade with red,blue,yellow,gold,silver, and crystal.
Is this true?

Who ever told you that doesn't know what they are talking about. You can't send anyone over from GBC games
No but you can transfer Pokemon via Pal Park from gba games Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Fire red and Leaf green.
