Question for Pokemon Pearl

Is it true, that when you use the PokeRadar and get "Pokemon Chains" (series of the same Pokemon) , that it has a slightly higher chance of the Pokemon being shiny?

No, it's still a 1/8192 chance of being a shiny whether you are in a Pokemon chain or not.

Slightly higher but it's still a very fat chance that you will get on.

Yes it's true. At first, just wandering around, the chance of getting a shiny Pokemon was 1 in 8192. But by using A pokeradar, you can increase the chance to 1 in 200!
