Question for Pokemon Pearl

Hey! Ummm I have a question... I have just finished Pokemon pearl and gotten the national pokedex...but I don't know what my friend code is...could somebody please tell me how I find my code...it will be really good if somebody could be real specific (because I'm really hopeless at most things:p)

You need to get on Wifi for the first time, then get out, and check your Pal Pad. You should then pick "My friend code".

First go down the stairs of the pokecenter.
Talk to one of the girls at the counter.
One of them should give you a friend pad(type thing)
And you get your friend code.
To check your friend code, Go to the last slot in the bag.
Find the friend pad, check your code.

1st connect to WFC (wi fi connection) either by the GTS (global trade station in jublilife city) or down stairs in a Pokemon center, then go to your Pal pad which is in your keyitems pocket. And select Friend code confirmation or something along those lines and then there you go!
