Question for Pokemon Pearl

The gym leader at Pastoria Gym gave me strength wasnt he supposed to give me defog?

And I can't use strength because it says that I don't have the badge and 1 more thing don't I have to get to Celestic City through the cave?

Get defog from the woman just in side the safari zone one of the first ones I think.

No, you got strength from the weird lady at the top of the lost tower outside solaceon town. You need to get to celestic town by going down a real foggy route and using defog. I can't remember the route number right now, buts it's the place you can catch Bagon once you get the national dex.

1. You need to get the defog hm from a man in the safari

2. You need to chase the galactic grunt down then cynthia or something will give you a special potion for the pysduck thats how you get to celestial town

You get defog in the swamp thingy to the north. There is a someone to your right after you pay to go in. Just talk to every one in the swamp place(after you pay).

No. He should of given you Brine and the ability to use Defog outside of battle. You find Strength in the top of Lost Tower and Defog inside of the Great Marsh. You can't use Strength until you have the 6th Badge. You do not go through the cave for your first visit. You get the Secret Potion from Cynthia after a Grunt gets away. Use the Potion to move the Psyduck. Then take that way to Celestic Town.
