Question for Pokemon Pearl

Well, I have an Action Replay DS. When I use the Action Replay DS for Poke'mon Pearl, there is a cheat "Get all TM's and HM's (Select + L)". I press and hold select and L but I don't get all TM's and HM's. Do I have to hold select and L at a certain time? Does anybody know what's wrong? If so, please answer my question. Thanks in advance.

You only get your TM's, all your HM's (if you have any yet) go into oblivion. It's best to use that cheat early in the game.
