Question for Pokemon Pearl

I've beaten the elite four and ended up at the place of the battle tower...can I go anywhere else?-i went back to victory road but can't enter through the other entrance...and I can't get past the people blocking the other ways in the battle tower town...please help

To get to those other places that are blocked off, you must first get the national pokedex by completing the Sinnoh pokedex.
