The legendaries are different and there are a couple of exclusive Pokemon on each game, like Diamond - Dialga, Skuntank and Pearl - Palkia, Purugly and there are some more than the ones I mentioned.

Pokemon diamond has some Pokemon that you can't catch in Pokemon pearl and Pokemon pearl has some Pokemon that you can't catch in Pokemon diamond.

I think the only difference is the legendaries.

Different Pok�mon to catch, different legendary Pok�mon (Palkia in Pearl, Dialga in Diamond).

The diffrence is you get Pulka in Pearl and Dalga in Dimond

The only difference that I know of is that the legendary Pokemon are not the same.
