I have a question, I have gone through everything just to figure out how to get to Pastoria City. Do you need surf? If so where do I get it, if not how do I get there, thanks ( Please give details if poss )

No, you simply have to go south from Veilstone City (via Route 214, Valor Lakefront, and Route 213).
Ok in vielsonte city there is a path south that leads to route 214. On route 214 navigate your way south. When you reach an area that has all these houses. Take the stair cases that lead to a place where you can re-charge your pokemon's health. Head south until you see the beach walk along the beach heading west. You will see a house with a brownish, redish roof when you see that house move north and then head west trough the buiding and viola you are in Pastoria City
