Ok if you have an action replay use the code walk through any thing. Go to full moon island and start walking east(right) keep going until you reach new moon island enter the area between the trees and there is Darkai. If you have a master ball use that cause thats what I did

You can only catch him when an event comes out, it will be either;
A Darkrai straight up with a rare item and unusual statistics or
An item called "Membership Pass" which allows you to stay at the locked motel in "Canalave City", you then go to the sailor at the south end of the city who will take you to an island where a level 40 Darkrai can be caught.
