Stuck in Veilstone

So I know that Dawn is supposed to be coming back after I beat the veilstone gym leader...but here I am, I beat the gym leader, and Dawn hasn't come back. I go back to the galactic grunts in front of the warehouse and they mention the 2v2 battle, but still no sign of Dawn...what am I supposed to do?

If you go back to the grunts she'll be there to fight by your side. If nothing is happening your game is possibly broken. Two things I would do is 1. Go back to the gym, exit the gym, and then go to the grunts or 2. Save your game, take out the game card, and then put it back in and she will appear most likely. If she doesn't message me Smile

This was actually a few months ago, and I should've mentioned that it was on a NDS emulator for android. Before posting, I have already tried going into the gym and coming out again several times, I've tried leaving the city and going back, and I've tried exiting the application and returning. None made a difference. Since then, I have deleted the game and the emulator, since I stopped playing and I need more free space on my phone. I should have deleted the post, but I honestly forgot. Thank you for your attempt to help though. Better late than never, and your answer is very much appreciated.
