Is there a way to make your Trainer name longer than 7 letters?

Its freaking annoying that I can't enter my whole name, which has 8 letters, as my name in the beginning of the game. I also hate using nicknames. Could there be someone out there that can make codes like this for people who have longer names? Not just Pearl, but ALL of them? Hell, even Trainers in game can have longer names!

I don't know if such a thing can be done, but I don't really use codes.

If you create a new topic Here, someone might be able to find or create such a code for you.
