I'm assuming you are in Eterna Forest, Wayward Cave, Iron Island, Post game Victory Road, or Stark Mountain.

Take advantage of them. They heal your Pokemon after EVERY battle. Train your pokemon. But if you insist on losing them, make it to the end of the cave/forest and they will either disappear or stay behind.
