Question for Pokemon Pearl

What is this Action Replay thing I keep hearing about? How do I do it? Are there any risks to it?

The Action Replay is a cheating device you can buy at most stores that sell video games. There are Action Replays for most video game consoles.

With an Action Replay you would enter a master code (to identify the game), many older games already have this saved on them. You would then enter any other codes you would want to use.

There are risks. Your Pokemon could be changed into "Bad Eggs," you could freeze your game, prevent yourself from being able to do something in game (progressing, trading...). Many people will not trade or battle you if they even think that you've used an Action Replay.
