You can start a new game and save over the old one, or you can press Up, Select, and B simultaneously on the Title Screen to delete everything.

The button thing is cool. I didn't know you could do that. I just wonder if it works for nitindo dogs.

It does not matter what type of ds you do it on but you just start a new game and save. It will overwrite the other one and your new one will be the only game.
