Question for Pokemon Pearl

I used the Action Replay on my Pokémon Pearl game so much that whenever I press the button "R" on my Nintendo DS Lite, the game will freeze and then crash, for this button is needed for most of the cheat codes I use. Any advice?

I don't know how to fix it because I don't have one, but I've seen warnings about using too many AR codes. It may break the game. I just looked it up, but did you use defective codes? Some walk through wall codes are defective, including the 999 heart scale cheat. Try starting a new file. If it still doesn't work when you press the are button (if it still freezes), consider buying a new Pokemon Pearl DS card.

I meant the "R" button. I didn't know it'd come out like that.
