I have Pokemon pearl on pc and I want to start a new game but I don't know which buttons to press. Please help me

This forum is for legitimate (meaning Nintendo DS) versions of the game. No one here knows what buttons to press on the computer.
You have to just start a new game. Since you're playing it on a comp Rom I'm not sure how to do all that.
