Question for Pokemon Pearl

Hi I've completed the game and have the national dex. Is there any way you can get a krabby without waiting for mini-Dawn to tell you about the swarm? Thanks

You can get a krabby from route 226 and you didnt need the national pokedex

ok, but do i need to get the swarm thing? cos i have been trying for ages by talking to mini-dawn and then resetting the time on my ds to 23:59, and have done this about 40 times...
