I went to the 7th gym to battle but it said I already beat it,why?

That is usually only suppose to happen if you used the all badges code on the action replay before obtaining all badges.If you didnt then it must have been a glitch or something like another code causing the glitch.
If you didn't use any AR codes or anything, your game is glitched.
Either the game is glitched or something's really bad happened or an event didn't work. Sorry!:(
