Exp share&EV points

Exp share&EV points

It’s actually two questions, No1: does the Exp share give EV points to the Pokémon holding it as well as Exp points? I’ve caught a Gible and evolved her to a Gabite with the Exp share when I heard about EVs. So I started wondering about this question.

<BR>No2: I’m about to challenge the Pokémon League but I don’t know which Pokémon is the best to take, so can someone please help and tell me what are the best against the Elite 4,the team in my mind is:

<BR>Floatzel(for fire, ground types & psychic types since he knows Crunch)
<BR>Staraptor(for the bugs & grass types)
<BR>Roserade(for Whiscash & Quagsire and probably Milotic)
<BR>Rapidash(for Bronzong, Steelix, Lucario)
<BR>Palkia/Garchomp(for CynthiaÂ’s Garchomp, donÂ’t know which to take, Palkia can learn good ice type moves but Garchomp seems to be very good against Spiritomb)
<BR>Onix/Graveler(for Drapion, Graveler knows Earthquake but Onix got a better Speed. Still donÂ’t know which to takeÂ…)

I'm not sure about about your first question but I think that the XP share does give the Pokemon EV points as well.

I play Pokemon diamond so I'm sure that the answers I give you won't be different to any pearl players.
If I were you I would take Rapidash for the bug Pokemon, Starraptor for bug Pokemon as well, Onix cos' he's pretty cool and he is a quite powerful Pokemon, Garchomp because he could beat palkia any day and lastly Floatzel.

Question1: No. The Pokemon must battle for it. I also blieve it must take the opponent out for the EVs.

1: Yes, they still gain the EVs.

2: Your team looks pretty good. But, Drapion isn't anything to fret about, as your Palkia could take him out, or you could teach Garchomp Earthquake. Then, he could help if Floatzel gets KOed on the Fire guy.
