The Pokemon Claydol can learn Rapid Spin AND Stealth Rock. So, it got me wondering, if I set up Stealth Rock and my opponent happens to do the same, then I use Rapid Spin; does it blow away the Stealth Rock on the opponents side, or just mine.

It blows away the spikes that your opponent set on your side, your spikes that you set on your opponents' side, are still layed out and are still effective.

It'll only blow away the Stealth Rock that was set up on your side the ones that you layed out on their side will still be in play untill they use Rapid Spin likewise if they use Rapid Spin the Stealth Rock you set up on their side will be blown away and the Stealth Rock they set up on your side will still be there untill you use Rapid Spin.
It sweeps away your opponents spike,toxic spikes and stealth rock unless your enemy uses Rapid Spin
