AR problem

I got my AR now. I have no skills with it, I don't know something about it, really unown.
How shall I start? How do I use the cheats? What must I do to use the AR?
When I connect my DS to my computer, I just got the message: Insert game cart. What shall I do next?
I have insalled the Action Replay Code Manager and cossen 3 codes.

Please answer me step by step, then I will be bery happy:D

First, you need to hit the yellow button when you connect it to the computer. Make sure you try all of the usb ports on you computer before you hit the yellow button and make sure the Action Replay Manager is up and running. It should automatcly hit the yellow buttion and there should be a change on the computer screen. To put cheats onto the Action Replay, Drag the Custom Codelist to the Codes on your Action Replay. You use diffrent cheats diffrently. Some require you hit the L and R button at the same time. It depends. You insert the game you want to play into the Action Replay. Click the green button if you have cheats for this game and choose the cheats you want. Then hit start and they will be active. Hope I helped!
