Shiny pokemon

Step 1.You simply use the pokeradar in a patch of grass.
Step 2.CATCH the Pokemon you encounter(when you exit the battle screen the grass should rustle again)
Step 3.Walk into the rustling grass(you will most likely encounter the same Pokemon again)
Step 4.CATCH it

Repeat this about 10-30 times and you might encounter a shiny. You will probaly never encounter a shiny legendary in your life becaus it is one in a million!(MY FRIEND ACTUALLY DID)

Well, the easiest way to get a shiny Pokemon without AR is to get someone with a shiny to trade it to you, but a doubt that anyone would give up their shiny (unless you have a really really really good Pokemon to trade to them, or they have a lot of shinys). Other than that way, you can:

1. Just randomly bump into one while you're walking in the grass (you could spend hundreds of hours doing it this way and never find one, but it's possible).

2. Using your pokeradar, try to run into the Pokemon you want shiny about 40 times in a row (this is extremely hard too, but not as hard as the first way) eventually you'll find the Pokemon you want, and it'll be shiny.

P.S. The only way to get a shiny legendary is to use the first method. So, if you can't live without getting a shiny legendary, save before you walk up to it, and then go up to it. If it's shiny, battle it. If it's not, shut off your game and try again.

Well it's not easy without a action replay. It's almost impossible
Use the poke radar on a grass pach
Catch that Pokemon you battle
Then the grass will rustle again
Battle it
Chances are it will take a while, but keep doing this over until you get a shiny pokemon. Or Buy a Action Replay at a gaming or electronics store. Hope I helped and please rate my answer

Well you could chain. To chain you get a BUNCH of super repels, then go into a tall grass field thingy. Use the super repel then use the poke radar, there are 2 types of grass,
1: It flashes white- rare-ish pokemon
2: plain shake- common pokemon
Once you find the pokemon you like, either catch it or kill it. The radar will make the grass move again, go to the farthest grass that was the SAME TYPE AS BEFORE, it should be the same pokemon, kill or catch it again. Keep doing this until you have a chain of 40, then if a patch SPARKLES go to it, there will be a SHINY POKEMON (ooh shiny...). Just make sure you don't go to the edge of the field, if you do your chain can be broken. Don't go out of the field, or shut the power off, you can break your chain that way too. Closing the DS won't break the chain so you can take a break. Close in the middle of a battle so you don't forget where to go.
