Okay so I just got to Snowpoint City and I went to the gym but how I'm I supposed to get to the gym leader using momentum on the ice. Can someone help or tell me how to get to the gym leader? Like how to get rid of the middle snowballs leading up to the gym leader. Thanks.

Well to get the snowballs that are in the middle out of the way, all you have to do it slide into them from the top level, and they will break. Thus leaving you in front of the Gym Leader, now pwn her.
