Key items?

How do you throw out key items? I used action replay to get the azure flute, but I didn't do the event code. So I need to throw out my azure flute because the guy in the Poke Mart doesn't let me get the one he gives me.

You can't throw it away. You will just have to live with it in your bag. I bet it won't take up too much space.
