Such a simple question, please help!
So I thought I was a pretty smart Mom but apparently not! My son just got an action replay and wants to download cheats from here and I am completly lost on how to even get started. I cannot find a basic help are for simple directions on how to link or copy and paste or exactly what to do. The instructions that come with the action replay are useless....is there anywhere I can go to read the instructions on how to do all of this???

Getting Action Replay Cheats from SuperCheats is a very easy process once you get the Hang of it.
First of, you have to open the Action Replay Code Manager, which is included on the Disk with the Action Replay.
Next, you have to insert the Action Replay cart into the Nintendo DS and turn the Power on.
Once the Action Replay has loaded, connect it to your computer using the USB connector cable that came with the Action Replay.
After all the Cheats have loaded on the "Nintendo DS" side of the Action Replay Code Manager, scroll down the list until you find the game that you want to add the cheats to. If the game you need is not listed, look to the top right, under "Subscriptions". Select which ever of the 3 options, either Europe, US or Japan apply to you. Use the plus button to bring up the list and then search that until you find the game you need. Then simply drag that game over to the Nintendo DS side.
When you have found the game you want, drag it over from the "Nintendo DS" side over to the "My Codelists" side, on the bottom right. Press the plus on the game to bring up the list of cheats already for that game. Then, right click on the game and select the "Add new cheat option"
Now, just get the cheat you wanted from Supercheats, and highlight the whole cheat, which should be a whole lot of random numbers and letters. Right click and copy the code.
Back on the Action Replay Code Manager, a window should have opened, called "Cheat Details". There are too boxes, "Cheat Name" and "Cheat Codes". Paste the Code into the "Cheat Codes" Box. Then type in a name for the cheat, most likely what it does and how to activate. Then press Ok.
Now, simply drag the game from "My Custom Codelists" back to "Nintendo DS". It will ask if you want to over write the file. Say yes and it will begin to be copied onto the DS.
Once it has finished copying, disconnect the Action Replay from the computer. Remove the Action Replay Cart and insert the Game Cart.
Then go into the activate cheat lists and select the cheat for the game (The box next to the cheat will be checked when activated). Then simply start the game and when you get into the game, activate the cheat as per the instructions. Holding L + R briefly is the most common way to activate a code, though it will usually specify how to active on the page the cheat is on.
