I've figured out certain things can only be done by doing nintendo events but what are nintendo events?

Nintendo events are events where certain places give away free pokemon! There was one earliar in may where you can get a darkrai. Also there was one in june when you can get a deoxs look for them on pokemon.com

They are events hosted by Nintendo at certain locations. There they hand-out rare Pokemon and items.
A place like game where nintendo people unlock something that you can't without an action replay or a cheatcode.
They are things they hold at stores on a certain date then you go to the store and get what they have
They are at a lot of places, usually Toys R Us or a gaming store like Gamestop. Also the Pokemon Center in New York City has events often so if your in the area that would not be a bad place to go.
