How do you start over and erase the list of Pokemon?

Please forgive my ignorance.
I was introduced to this game by a 7 year old boy who is from Columbia. I speak English, and English is his second language, so we're dealing with a language barrier along with my lack of knowledge about this game.
He very much wants to know how to erase a list of Pokemon names he has accrued while playing.
He'd like it to look like it did at the beginning.
He wants to know how to start over and erase the list, so he can pick and choose, and type in the names he wants.
Could you direct me to where I could access information that would help him accomplish his goal?
Thank you so much for your help.
He LOVES this game! :)

I don't really get what you mean. If you mean restarting the game from scratch then all you do is go onto a new game and then save over your current game but if you mean something different then I'm sorry to waste your time.

First of all, I'm glad he loves the game, as it is a great game to play! I don't really get what you mean, so if you mean starting the game over, then when you load the game up tap the new game button and it should happen. But if you mean giving the Pokemon nicknames then, travel/fly to Eterna City and go to the lower right of the Pokecenter and there should be a giant building called "Eterna Condominiums" go inside and thre should be a man, he can change the Pokemons nicknames.
Hope this helps. ~Geezerguy~
