Sorry about that, now down to the question. The only way to make it easier is to weaken a Pokemon through damage or giving it a status like Sleep, Poison, or Frozen. Or, you could use a Master Ball, but without cheating they are incredibly hard to come by.

You can use a master ball for an instant catch, if you don't have any of those, you could always try using Timer Balls, Ultra Ball, Net Balls. Any ball with a good capture rate.

You can also but the Pokemon to sleep, paralyze/poison/freeze/burn it. Any of those will help.

And the last thing you can do is to lower it's HP to the lowest possible spot.

There isn't a surefire way to make it easier, but you can lower the Pokemon's health to the red zone and inflict sleep or frozen on the Pokemon. If you have an AR, you can use a cheat to get infinity Masterballs, and if you are trying to catch legendarys, these Pokeballs are ideal, and catch a Pokemon without fail.

Yes, there are several methods that you can use to help you catch Pokemon easier. These methods will work on any game, not just Pokemon Pearl, but on ALL of the other Pokemon games out there. Weaken the Pokemon that you want to catch until their health is in the red area. After that, put them to sleep by using a move such as Yawn, or Hypnosis. After that, throw an ultra ball as this will help you catch them, and you should catch them. It might take a few tries though. Just repeat these steps to catch a Pokemon.
