Name Rater

Hello. I'm just wondering where the Name Rater is in Pokemon Pearl (I have a hard time with this stuff). Glad for an answer!

The name rater is in eterna city (NOTE:you can not nickname Pokemon if they were traded to you or migrated through pal-park

It is alright, thats why we are here. To help you out with any problems that you may have. To answer your question, the Name Rater can be found on the first floor of the Condominium in Eterna City. He will be sitting at a table so just walk up to him and talk to him. Also, if you received a Pokemon from a trade and you were looking forward to changing it's nickname to something else, then I'm afraid that you are out of luck. You cannot change the nickname of a Pokemon that did not belong to you originally as that would be a sign of dis-respect to the Pokemon and the original trainer. You can also talk to him to change a Pokemon's nickname as many times as you want.

He is in Eterna city but if you got a Pokemon in a trade you can not nickname it

Check all buildings in eterna city you should find him (he's an old geezer!!!)


P.s you can't rename Pokemon you got in a trade!!!!
