No HMs?

Question asked by Koinuchan on

No HMs?

I used the All TMs code (I ended up getting 99 of each; I only wanted 1 of each) for Action Replay on my Pokemon Pearl and I got all the TMs, but my HMs were deleted. Can anyone help me? Is this a glitch or is there simply no room for my HMs?

That shouldn't happen. The code should give you all eight HMs also, my advice is try using the code again and see if you get the HMs because the code it designed to give all TMs & HMs.

Possibly a glitch

Oh yeah, what happened to your game file is definitely a glitch of some sort. The Action Replay code that you used is supposed to give you not only Ninety-Nine copies of each and every TM ever made, but it is also supposed to give you a bunch of copies of each HM move. I think that the reason as to why your Pokemon game did not accept the HM's is because something is either wrong with the code that is causing it to not work properly, or it is just a once in a lifetime thing that happens very rarely. You should still have a bunch of rooms so that is not the problem. But, I must ask you this important question. Do you really need the HM moves? If you have already taught each of the HM moves to a Pokemon, then don't worry about them anymore.

Hope this helps.

You probably got a glitch because I used that cheat and nothing happened

Action Replay is unpredictable. I don't recommend it unless you enjoy experimenting AFTER you beat the game. You found out why.

Every copy of every game ever mad has a small veriation in the coding, and I guess yours didn't enjoy that Action Replay code.

Either that, or you entered the code wrong. "But I copied and pasted from here!" Then the place you copied from typed it wrong. "But they copied it too" Then the creator generated it wrong. No matter how far you go, it always ends at a coding error.
