mystery gift

I went to jublife city and went to the tv station, and the mystery gift came up. But every time I try to retrieve it, it takes like, 5 minutes, and then it says no gift found. I've tried every option to recieve it, and I still can't get it, please help!

You wasted your time you can only obtain a mystery gift by going to a nintendo event.

Well, I am sorry to inform that you have wasted some of your time by messing around with the Mystery gift option on the main menu. I know that this was a strange move made by the Nintendo Company, but unfortunately for players like us, they seem to have taken all usage of the Mystery Gift out of the games. What this means is that no one can use the Mystery Gift option until they are at a Nintendo Event somewhere, and then they have to use WI-FI for it to work. Since they decided to make the Mystery Gift option practically useless when it is not being used in an Nintendo Event, there is no need to even think of using it any other day. It will just be a waste of time. Hopefully, they will learn from their mistake.
