In order to make your own codes to use on the Action Replay DS, you need to find a program called Pokesav. Once you find that via a google, or yahoo! Search, download the program. Now you can mess around with it if you want to, or you can go on youtube.com and watch a tutorial on how to use the Pokesav. Program so that you can get started working on some codes right away. Once you are experienced enough with making codes perhaps you could head down to the Pokemon Action Replay Forum, and take the requests there.... Hope this helps.
You should also download Notepad++. This will let you view, edit, and save XML files. The XML files are what the AR uses. I make my own custom XML files by copying and pasting in Notepad++.
