Does anyone know if there is going to be a sequel to Diamond and Pearl? I heard that there is going to be one, and it is going to be called "Opal Version." Does this sound right? Since Giratinas is considered the third part of the Palkia and Dialga trio (this is probably still being debated, though), it would make since, because there is an opal called the giratina opal, or something like that... Does anyone have any information regarding a sequel?

There has been some speculation regarding the missing game in the trio pattern over at Serebii, but right now it's just idle speculation. When the new Coro Coro comes out in May, there should be more information on it. Its likely that, if there is going to be a new game for that trio, it would be called Opal. Giratina would fit well into the One-In-A-Game Story Legend for it. Btw, if your right on this, I'm giving you a psychic award! Im not even kidding.
Yes, there in fact be a sequel to the Pokemon Diamond, and Pokemon Pearl games. Want to know how I know? I did not look it up anywhere on the internet. I know for a fact that they will make a third game to add the collection of Sinnoh games because in the past, they have done so for every Pokemon Game generation. Pokemon Red, and Pokemon Blue. Then came Pokemon Diamond. Pokemon Gold, and Pokemon Silver. Then along came Pokemon Crystal.
Pokemon Ruby, and Pokemon Sapphire. Then guess what? Along came Pokemon Emerald.
Pokemon Diamond, and Pokemon Pearl. Soon, there will be a sequel, I guarantee it. Maybe it will be called Pokemon Opal.

There are rumors in australia that itl be called granite. It sounds a little more possible than opal because giratina is darkish and not multicoloured. But then again, many times australian game names were very diferent to Japanese ,uk and us names...
