Missingno is a glitch Pokemon that was found in Pokemon blue, Pokemon Yellow, and Pokemon Red when they made 200 Pokemon slots. All the missing data from the 50 Pokemon slots that were not used in the game fused, or mixed together when the game tried to bring it up. The result of this was Missingno, he is listed as 000 in the pokedex. Missingno is said to mess up your game, and even delete your saved data, but it has never happened to me. You cannot catch Missingno on Pokemon Diamond, or Pearl, so do not worry about running into Missingno. Hope this helps...

Some kind of Pokemon you do never want to get because it will take up a space in your party and you can't take it off you will have to start your whole game over like me =,{ if you see a Pokemon that dose not look like one as a matter a fact it doesn't look like one at all if you get one don't save your game

Missingno is a glitch you can play around with that first appeared on Pokemon red and blue that hacked in to the specific code (hex) which made wierd things happen and appear in those games. I'm not sure how it works for D/P because they use different, larger code for those games... But a missingno was a wierd Pokemon that might look like a question mark or a fuzzy square rectangly thing, anyway, most people reported having loads of fun with missingno, but ususally it just made the game crash because you needed a device like action replay to hack into your gameboy, and we all know how safe game hacking this way is *sarcasm*.

If you want to see what they look like, go to google (it's a search engine, if you have been living on mars since 1990) and type missingno in... And do an image search, it will show you what they look like. You can read more about how it was done, but really hacking the data requires more than a passing knowledge of code.

Misingno is an abbreviation for Missing Number. It is not a real Pokemon but a glitch in the game.

The same thing that "cheating-is-good" said but it does actually do all that stuff that he say and I know because that happened to me but he forgot one thing!! It doesnt only delete your saved game, it makes it so you can't ever save another game!! So basicaly the game is trash if you get it!!
