I have two questions, how do I change the nickname of my Pokemon, is there some wher in he game I can go to?
In glbal tade center, I can only seek for Pokemon in diamond and pearl. What do I do for it to let me serch for mew?

You go to the name rater in Eterna city.
As for the GTC you can only seek Pokemon that you have seen.

Yes there is a place you can go to get pokemons nicknames changed, he is in eterna city. He will only however be able to change the nicknames of Pokemon you have caught yourself. If you try and change a nickname of a Pokemon you got in a trade he wont let you.
The way the GTS works is that it only lets you search for Pokemon which you have seen in your pokedex. Until after you beat the elite 4 and get the national dex this number is somewhat limited. It increases a lot later in the game but with a Pokemon like Mew, it is almost impossible to see it in your pokedex without actually owning it. So in order to be able to search for Mew, you must have the national dex and have seen Mew so that you can view it in your pokedex.
In order to change a pokemon's name, or to change their nickname, you need to talk to the Name rater. You can find the name rater in his condo in Eterna City.
The only reason you see Pokemon diamond, and pearl Pokemon, is because they are on the pokedex. In order to search for a Mew, you have to have him on the Pokedex.
You can change a pokemons name in eterna city.you need to have saw Mew in your pokedex to get him(or her)or any other Pokemon that you want but you can still get any Pokemon with an action replay and a modifier code. Hope this helps xxxx
