underground shards

How do you use shard's that you find underground.Do you trade them in for stone's that evolve Pokemon like Eevee,Gloom,Pikachu,Clefairy,Vulpix,Jigglypuff,Groulith,Exeggcute,Murkrow,Kirlia,Skitty,
Roselia and Snorunt.

No they don't quite do the same thing as they do in emerald. In this you trade them in to some dude for TMs. He will give you one TM for ten of one shard, it is possible to obtain an unlimited number of TMs from him, but the TMs stink IMO. They are all the weather TMs i.e sunny day, rain dance, sand storm,and hail, I think that all of them, but yeah well, if you have a good use for those TMs by all means go for it.

Nope, things have changed in Pokemon Pearl, and now the shards are used for different purposes. There is a man near the ocean somewhere, like in Pokemon Emerald, who will trade you a TM for every 10 shards of a certain colour that you bring to him.

On route 212 there is someone who will trade 10 shards of a certain colour for a tm.

Ps. David_banner, you hve got to realise that battles aren't always about atack atack atack. Weather moves are good if you use them wisely (eg, hail and kingdra does not work, using hail or sandstorm on raquaza is pointless)

No, There is a person in a house to the left of Pastoria who will give you Tm's for them, this is how it works. You give him ten of the same ones, he will give you either Sunny Day, Hail, Rain Dance or Sandstorm, a colour corrensonds with the TM you get.
