I don't know if I spelled it right but I would like to know more about this. My friends Pokemon has this and I want to know what it is, how do my Pokemon get it, is it trade-able and how rare is it to get it?

Pokerus is a virus that is randomly found in the wild, infecting a wild pokemon. While your Pokemon has it, it's EV's(Effort Values) grow quicker, because they are doubled. In other words, every time a Pokemon levels up (with the Pokerus) it's stats would grow more than they normally would.
It is spread to the Pokemon on your team. Each Pokemon can only get it once.
Yes, it is tradeable. It is VERY rare, alsmost as rare as a shiny, if not more.
It only lasts about 24 hours, whether you are playing or not. So, to keep it, infect a Pokemon and put it in the pc. It will not go away there, but it will not spread there either. You must have it on your team to spread it, as mentioned above.

Pokerus is a neat, little, Virus that makes your Pokemon Level up faster. Also, when they go up a level, their stats increase a lot more than they should. You cannot choose when to get it, it is a random thing, but as soon as your Pokemon gets infected with it, you should start leveling up quickly. You can spread the virus to other Pokemon by Putting the infected Pokemon in the PC, but it will go away after a while.
