Trainer Saphire

Yes, I'm sorry, but you do. Try getting Pokemon from one of the game boy advance games such as ruby, sapphire, and emerald. It will help a lot on trying to fill the pokedex.

When you say 'national' do you mean just for Sinnoh?

Anyway, to be able to use palpark, and migrate Pokemon, you just have to have SEEN every Pokemon n Sinnoh.

But when Professor oak, he wants you to actually gain data of every Pokemon, both in Sinnoh, and from everywhere else... To obtain data on a Pokemon, you must catch it. to fill it out completely, you have to catch one of each type... BUT you can fill it out by evolving a pokemon... Say you have an oddish... Evolve that into a gloom, and you will still have the full data on oddish, even though it's now a gloom. So evolution is an easy way of filling in data on your pokedex.

Yes, you do, I am sorry, but you have to catch every single Pokemon from every game, in order to complete the National Pokedex. To get the national Pokdex, you must catch all 150 Sinnoh Pokemon, then you have to go speak with Professor Rowan in his office. After you finish talking to him, Professor Oak will come in, and he will give you the National Pokedex, so you can complete that. If you need help on it, or tips, go talk to Dawn's sister in Sandgem City where the Professor's Lab is, or you could go to Oak's apartment in Eterna City, and get advice from him.
