I have answered this question soooo many times... But hey, one more time can't hurt! ;)

A nintendo event isnt something you 'enter' it's like a comic book convention or something similar, the you attend in person like in Japan, or in America, where they have people that will upload certain data to your gameboy, your Pokemon game, that you can use to get event-only Pokemon, or they just give you a special pokemon. Somethimes they have them at new pokemo movies, but, as they are usually in Japan, and usually only for a few months after the games come out, it is likely that they are all over now anyway.

You cannot enter an event like Mitsu said, you have to wait till an event comes to a town near you. Most events give you special stuff like Pokemon, or special items needed to get legendary Pokemon that are hiding like tickets, and such. Most events are in japan, but alot do come to the U.S, and the Uk, just gotta keep an open ear and listen out of upcoming events.
