I am having trouble getting to the last Gym Leader with all the twists that happen. I can't seem to time it just right to get to him. Is there a way to do it? Is there a code or something I need to get to him?

When youve got the 7th ym badge make yur way to hearthome city and go to mount corunet. Go throgh the cave in the top right corner and go trough the cave.when you get to spear piller go up and you and your rivel will battle mars and jupiter thn yourrivel will leave. Go forward and join rowarn and dawn/lucas, then you will battle cyrus.when you beat him you get the chance to battle and catch palkia.then you can go to sunnyshore city. Go to the lighthouse and speak to him then he will go and now youcan go to the 8th gym
