Question for Pokemon Pearl

With houndoom when ever I try and catch a wild one it uses roar and makes me run any suggestions on how to make it more easy to catch if you help thanks

Teach a vulpix roar. Give it a quick claw. Then use imprison, and the move Roar is sealed so Houndoom cannot use it. Or you could use a soundproof Pokemon like loudred.

I would try going in with a Pokemon like Voltorb or Electrode with a Trait of Soundproff. Then, Roar will be completely uneffective.

Well, you could get a fast pomemon and try to use yawn or hipnosis, or simply use a masterball, (get 999 of them using an action replay

Just throw a ultra ball when you first go up to him and just keep trying.

Or.... You can just throw a quick ball, don't do much, but if your lucky, yea.

Get a Pokemon with block like sudowoodo or golbat with meanlook.
