How to make all the cheats work?

Hey I have tried the action replay codes but it doesn't work, Is it need a Master code or What or else or in or out? Plz tell me!!

You must allways have the master code active in order for the cheats to work

For most cheats you need to press L+R to activate too.

if its to change a pokemon use one at a time and your beginner will change into that pokemon!
