How do i get to amp plains?

Can someone please tell me how to get to amp plains. I've been stuck on this part forever!

A few days after the expedition ther will be marill and azurill visiting u
They will ask for help to retrieve an item at amp plains
P.s:use above answer about electrike to help you
It helped me coz I'm a water type

You should be able to go to it like any other dungeon a few days after arresting Drowzee. As for getting through Amp Plains.... You are going to fry if you have a Water-type, so use that knowledge to your advantage.... I.E. Get an Electrike with Lightningrod, that way, your Water-type cannot be touched. Its as simple as having that Electrike with you at all times. Good Luck...

I don't remember the story much at amp plains but see if you can use wondermail to get the secret slab. Go to the 7f and somewhere on the floor a legendary pokemon will be lurking. Find it out for yourself. I have recruited it but I havent used it much. P.S if you have a water type, there are very high chances of being fried. Good luck.
