Please tell me which combinations work best for the hero to be eevee and if it has worked so far in your game. Decided to buy it to play all Pokemon games released.

I recommend riolu, just started a new game with Eevee and he's pretty good.
Though, it's up to you. I'm actually really good with riolus/lucarios, beat Pokemon x with them.
