Just follow the story and don't forget to pick up those TM's cus if one has shadow claw and you can learn it you will RUSH trough the ghost type enemy's like nothing (if you are riolu don't forget to learn brick break from a TM)

Riolu should have foresight as well, otherwise none of his attacks work well. I made that mistake as a leader riolu and man is it hard to beat those ghost types. Don't worry I'm about half done and my partner is vulpix.
